Geoscientists Without Borders® funds projects that apply the geosciences to humanitarian issues such as groundwater management, earthquake and tsunami hazard mitigation.

The deadline for the next round of Geoscientists Without Borders® Phase I applications is 15 January 2018.

  • Include students, particularly local students

Linear, Machine Learning and Probabilistic Approaches for Time Series Analysis

Different approaches for time series modeling. The forecasting approaches using linear models, ARIMA alpgorithm, XGBoost machine learning algorithm are described. Results of different model combinations are shown. For probabilistic modeling the approaches using copulas and Bayesian inference are considered.
